My friend, Angie, and I got together with our two little boys. Sam is 18 months and Max is 28 months and they got along like life-long friends!

Sam and Angie got to my moms' before Max woke up from his nap and was a bit confused when he saw Sam at the table eating. I sat Max down to have a snack with Sam and he kept looking at him out of the corner of his eye. Finally, Sam got out of his seat and stood in front of Max touching his leg slightly. Max scrunched his nose and frowned his eyes and pulled away. Then Sam got closer to Max smiling and talking his toddler talk. Max started warming up to Sam and called me over. I said, "Isn't Sam so nice Max? He's a really nice friend." Max replies, "Yes, so nice. Not a monster mommy." Ha! I love what comes out of his mouth these days.
