Two-year-olds are SO funny! And, thank goodness because otherwise I wouldn't survive the tantrums, kicking, screaming, "I need to do it myself" attitude, and myriad of other unpleasant behaviors. Here's a cute story:
Yesterday we were driving to church and I heard Max talking so I turned around to see what he was saying. He had both of his shoes off, his feet propped up on his car seat, and was pretending that his feet were conversing with one another. Each foot took its own turn speaking and responding...for the entire ride to church. There was giggling, serious conversation, and some tickling going on with those little feet!
Then, this afternoon after we ate lunch Max went to the living room and propped his legs up on his little table. He looked just like a man relaxing after a very satisfying meal. Then his little feet starting talking again. Same program...laughter, conversation, taking turns speaking, and then his feet started playing with his trains. Soon, the little feet made their way over to me on the couch and asked me if I was happy. "Yes," I replied. The little feet took off their little socks and revealed ten little toes who promptly began tickling me! The little toes were laughing and so was I! I've never had such fun with toes in all my life!!!
