Oh boy, what a holiday!

Sorry, but these pictures are a bit out of order...as I uploaded them they flipped everything upside down...so this is the end of our 10-day holiday extravaganza! It started out when I picked my sister, Sarah, up from the Detroit airport on Dec. 23. It took me an hour to get there because there was a snow/ice storm. After I picked her up we had to drive to Lansing which took us almost 4 hours! Poor Max was in a terrible state after he sat in the car for almost 6 hours just to get to Lansing. Argh!

We spent Christmas at the Fords in Lansing with my two sisters, one of which I only see twice a year, and then left for Tennessee to visit with Isaac's parents, and two of his sisters and their families on December 28th. We had an amazing time in Tennessee with family and friends. So amazing in fact that I'm wishing we were still there...or better yet that we lived there again!

Here we are cute as can be at the Bennett home in Spring Hill, Tennessee. Courtney and Angela, Isaac's older sisters.

Max laughing at grandma Bennett's chickens...they laid five eggs while we were there!

Grandma Bennett, Celeste, Aiden, and Connor hanging out in the warm sunshine.

My dad gave Max a pair of slippers and when he put them on he became a Christmas quarterback! He was running wild everywhere throwing the football with the Santa had on! It was awesome!

Max on Christmas Day...picture perfect!

On Christmas Eve Max was watching 'Nemo' with his "friends" the snowmen. It was so cute!

Here we are decorating the tree at my parent's house. Max loved helping put ornaments on the tree even when it pricked him. And, he really began to understand the idea of Santa and presents, which was fun.

  1. These are awesome pics of Max. He seems older than just now 2 - like he's very mature and camera-aware. His quarterbacking, snowmen buddying, and by the fire posing are impressive. :) Love to you!!
