Santa!!!

Yesterday morning we went to Jungle Java, an indoor play place near our house, to see Santa. Max's friend, Sasha, went too and they were both a bit nervous to meet "the big guy." So, they held hands to comfort and encourage one another...so cute! After much prompting and explaining that Santa is not a bad man, Max finally shook Santa's hand and said "hello." The rest of the time we were there, Max kept a stern eye on Santa, as he wandered around talking to the children.

I didn't get a "santa" picture, but I hope this will help him not be as frightful of the man in the big red suit. A few weeks ago Courtney and I took Max and Lucas to the mall and happened upon Santa. While Lucas went up to tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas, Max made sure not to closer than 50 ft! He walked in a very well-measured radius around the man in the beard waiting for Lucas to finish his conversation. So funny.
